$250,000 was the top prize on the Fantastic Four 2009, Vas o No Vas (USA) and the Singaporean version and it was the second biggest amount in the syndicated version. Whenever a board has a top prize that is greater than $1 million, it appears either as the fourth-highest amount ($2.5 million, and $3 million boards) and as the fifth-highest amount under a non-top prize multi-million dollar amount ($4 million, $5 million, and $6 million).

Only one contestant has won $250,000, once which happened during the original version. Sherman Mitchell played his game on March 2, 2006, with the $2,000,000 case being in play, played the game until there were two amounts left which it was $300 and $500,000, and his case had the $300. Even though $250,000 appeared on the daytime show as the second biggest amount, nobody won $250,000 by rejecting every banker offer.
