£250,000 is the usual top prize on the British version of Deal or No Deal.
Laura Pearce Alice Mundy, Suzanne Mulholland, Tegen Roberts, Nong Skett, Paddy Roberts, Roop Singh, Ann Crawford and Vikki Heenan are all to have won the big amount. The last two amounts are £100,000 and £250,000 and sees the most and largest difference between them.

- Laura Pearce declined the offer of £45,000.00 when £3,000 and £250,000 were left on the board. She claimed that her father was the most important person in her life. Her box, number six, was her fathers birthday, and therefore refused the swap. Her box contained £250,000, 7 January 2007
- Alice Munday had perhaps the most legendary game in Deal History. She accepted the bankers offer of £17,500.00. Because she dealt so early, she kept the 1p and £250,000 on the board. The Banker then offered the Bankers Gamble. She accepted and declined the swap. Her box (number 8) contained £250,000.00, 12 March 2009.

- Tegan Roberts was offered a deal of £77,000 after ending with the £20,000 and £250,000 boxes in play, which she turned down to win. Tegan was the only winner to begin her game by taking out the 1p box.
- Nong Skett was the fifth winner. She had the £5 and £250,000 boxes remaining with her final offer being £68,000 She declined the swap and won.
- Paddy Roberts finished the game with the £75,000 and £250,000 still in play, and turned down a final offer of £140,000 to go on and win. Paddy was the first male winner and the youngest at only 18.
- Roop Singh was the first contestant to win the £250,000 following the introduction of Box 23. Had he purchased it, he would have gone home with £500,000.
- Ann Crawford was the show's oldest winner. If she had purchased Box 23, she would have lost everything.
- Vikki Heenan was the show's final winner. Unlike the others, her victory was confirmed on the show's website prior to her episode airing.

- After Laura's game, the banker was apparently sobbing in his room.
