Karen Vann was the very first contestant on the U.S. version of Deal or No Deal on December 19, 2005. She played a regular game with $1 million and won $25,000 with case #14 holding $500 in her case.
Before she appeared on the series premiere on Deal, she and her husband (who was one of her supporters) were on Pat Finn's last Shop Til You Drop in 2001. After that, she appeared on Pyramid in 2003, and Wheel of Fortune in 2021.
