Mariela Arteaga (born in Miami, Florida) is an American actress, model and dancer. She spent time in the game show world as Briefcase model #8 during the fourth and final season of NBC's Deal or No Deal.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Mariela Arteaga is a mix of Cuban, Venezuelan, and Trinidadian descent. She speaks fluent Spanish, and her work experience is as versatile as her ethnicity.
Mariela has been a performer all her life. She graduated from the prestigious New World School of the Arts with honors in classical ballet, danced for the NBA, and eventually moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion for the entertainment industry.
Mariela has an extensive acting, modeling, and television career. She has been featured globally in numerous commercials, magazines, and has toured with some of the world's top music artists. Mariela is well known for being a finalist on the hit reality show Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll, as well as for being a popular gameshow model on the hit NBC game show Deal or No Deal.
