Megan Abrigo (born on January 27, 1988 in Mililani, Hawaii) is an American model. She is best known to TV game show audiences as Briefcase Model #6 on the NBC game show Deal or No Deal.
Born and raised on the island of Mililani, Hawaii, where she got her start in modeling after being spotted by a photographer and by the age of 15, modeling was a part-time hobby that quickly became a passion for Megan.
Even though it was a difficult choice for Abrigo, she put modeling on hold when she moved to California to attend college at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. After graduating in May 2006 with a bachelor's degree in studio arts emphasizing in computer science, Megan decided to pursue her dream of modeling full-time.
It didn't take long for people to notice this natural exotic beauty and within a few months she landed various prints in magazines, runway shows, commercials, and hosting positions all of which led Megan to the hottest number on NBC Primetime, one of the 26 Briefcase Models the TV game show Deal or No Deal. The peacock network gave the show a week-long trial run which aired during the week of December 19-23, 2005 and returned to the airwaves in February 2006 as a primetime regular. For the show's entire run, Abrigo stood beside Briefcase #6. In 2018, Abrigo appeared again in the brief CNBC revival. She and Patricia Kara were the only two models to appear on all five seasons of the show and appear in the CNBC revival.
Her case, along with Briefcase #17 (held by Jenelle Moreno) has held the $1,000,000 top prize the most times. It was a tie at first at 25 times each, but later in season five, her case beat Briefcase #17 by holding it two more times, totaling to 27 times.
Abrigo appeared alongside fellow Briefcase Models Claudia Jordan, Patricia Kara, Lisa Gleave, and Leyla Milani at the 2009 Game Show Awards (hosted by Howie Mandel) as they won the award for Favorite Game Show Models.
In 2009, Abrigo was also the co-host for the short-lived poker themed game show Face the Ace (also aired on NBC) hosted by Steve Schirripa (Bobby Baccalieri of The Sopranos fame).
Megan has also posed for Maxim magazine, Boost Mobile, Old Navy, Fitness magazine, Allure magazine and others as well as filming commercials for Spike TV, LA Inc., L'Oreal and Cover Girl. She aims to keep acting full time, and to cultivate her passion of traveling and adventure - whether through work or pleasure. Abrigo briefly dated comedian Daniel Tosh in 2009 but have later split up.
Today, Megan is now a certified yoga instructor as SoHoYoga in Hermosa Beach, California.
