The Deal Wheel is a side game contestants were forced to play a side game at the end of their game where they could double or triple their winnings, or lose half of it, allowing for a maximum prize of $3,000,000. The wheel had thirty spaces: 10 spaces had ½, 15 spaces had x2, and 5 spaces had x3. What would happen is that the contestant would spin the wheel, grab the golden ball from a nearby model, climb the stairs to the top of the wheel, and drop the ball to see what it lands in. During the ball drop, sound effects from the case openings are used. The ding used when a small amount is opened is used when the ball lands in x2 or x3, and the disasterous sound used when a big amount is opened is played when the ball lands in ½.
If there’s more than one contestant to play the Deal wheel, the contestant who will wait until the first contestant finishes the game. Howie and their supporters will cheer and watches the ball it will land. If there’s a contestant wins more money than the other contestant, then the other contestant will play first.
The Deal Wheel returned in the syndicated version. It has 22 numbers corresponding to the numbers on the cases. A golden ball was placed into the wheel and as it spun, the ball bounced around inside the wheel to various numbers. When the wheel stopped, whichever number the ball landed is the contestant who competed in the game. Their case was then placed on a podium.
The Deal Wheel was retired after the last episode of the syndicated version.
